Property in Spain for luxury lovers
The real estate market in Spain is famous for its affordable offers. The financial crisis that began in 2007-2008 led to a sharp decline in prices and the creation of a new trend among foreign investors – affordable real estate in Spain. Prices for apartments start from 30 thousand euros, and for 50 thousand you can already buy decent options for living or renting. However, not only the budget segment suffered from the crisis. The luxury real estate market has also seriously decreased in price. Russian investors want to take advantage of this situation, ready to invest significant amounts in order to increase their capital in the near future.
Elite unique real estate in Spain
With significant funds, investors can choose from a wide range of real estate properties. They can purchase unique buildings and luxury apartments.
For example, in June 2017, one of the most significant transactions in the history of the city took place in Barcelona: a luxury apartment in the Eixample district was sold for 10 million euros. This residential property of 450 square meters and a 250-meter terrace is located on the prestigious Avinguda García. It offers a beautiful view of the famous Casa Milà, an architectural symbol of Barcelona and the last completed work of Gaudi. According to forecasts from the elite real estate agency Engel & Völkers, the cost of housing of this class in the capital of Catalonia will increase by 9% by the end of 2017. This means that the owner will be able to receive an additional income of 900 thousand euros.
If you prefer a quiet life in a remote area, the Lançois Doval agency can offer you another option: the Carboneras del Valle hunting estate, located on an area of 2,000 hectares in the province of Cordoba. This estate is for sale for 17 million euros and has great tourist potential. It has 18 bedrooms that can be used to accommodate guests, which will certainly not be lacking. Hunting has always been one of the most popular pastimes on the Iberian Peninsula.
If you are willing, you can find unique real estate properties, including historical monuments, at a fairly affordable price. Recently, a three-story residential house in Segovia, which is a reconstructed building of a 16th-century monastery, was put up for sale for 1.2 million euros. The main bedroom of the house is located on the site of the former choir and has a ceiling decorated with painted vaults in the late Gothic style.
Of interest is also the family castle in La Coruña (autonomous community of Galicia), the price of which was recently reduced from 3.9 to 2.7 million euros. For this money, the buyer will receive 1 hectare of land, a house of 1,500 square meters, a chapel, several barns, a mill, an orchard and its own spring. Similar priced estates can also be purchased on the island of Torralla, also located in Galicia, with two beaches and several historic buildings.
