The only way to reach this amazing and secluded place is to travel through the mountains on a cogwheel train. This journey is a real pleasure in itself, as it passes through exceptionally picturesque and pristine places. The cogwheel train is designed in such a way that it allows you to overcome a significant climb. The journey lasts half an hour, and almost all this time you can observe a constant change of views from the window of the train: cliffs give way to flowering valleys with streams running through them and hiking trails. This train departs from the station of Ribes de Freser, which can be reached from Barcelona and Girona by bus. Here you change to a train that goes to Vall de Nuria and at any time of the year will take you to a truly wonderful holiday destination!
