Study in Spain according to Cambridge standards
Today, studying in Spain provides the opportunity to obtain secondary or higher education in accordance with the Spanish programs approved by the Ministry of Education. However, there are also international schools where students can study according to the educational standards of the most developed countries in the world. An example of such a school is the British college End-a-ze, located in Madrid.
The school aims to provide a useful and enjoyable education for its students. Here children have the opportunity to develop their learning potential, discover their abilities and talents, become independent and acquire skills that will help them in their future studies and careers. Learning at the school is based on joy and motivation.
One of the main goals of education at the school is to recognize each child as a unique individual with his/her own needs and strengths. Here, conditions are created that promote equal opportunities for students of any race, culture, gender and physical development. Teachers work closely with parents to achieve all the set goals.
Education in Spain according to British standards is based on the educational programs developed by the University of Cambridge for children from 5 to 19 years old. These programs are successfully used in thousands of schools around the world. As part of these programs, the End-a-ze school offers the development of English language skills, mathematics and basic sciences for children from 5 to 11 years old. Pupils’ knowledge is assessed as part of a progressive test at the end of each academic year.
The secondary education programme is designed to prepare students for university. End-a-ze offers two levels of this programme – the Lower Secondary Programme for children aged 11 to 14 and the Upper Secondary Programme for children aged 14 to 16. The curriculum includes over 50 subjects, allowing students to choose the direction of their studies. Upon successful completion of the programme, students receive an IGCSE, an important step towards further study at A-level and university.
Starting from the age of three, End-a-ze also accepts preschoolers. Each child is given an individual development program, taking into account their abilities and skills.
The school provides parents of future students with the opportunity to attend open days or individual visits. Applicants undergo a written knowledge test before being assigned to classes. New students are admitted throughout the year, subject to availability.
